Every community has people who quietly help make things happen behind the scenes.

For the Harleysville Swifties, one of those people is Journey (pronounced “Jarney”).

Known throughout the community for her positivity, encouragement, and willingness to help wherever needed, Journey has become a familiar presence at local Swiftie gatherings, friendship bracelet exchanges, and community events across Montgomery County.

While she rarely seeks attention for herself, fellow members say her impact can be felt across many of the activities that bring local Swifties together.

“Journey is one of those people who always wants everyone to feel welcome,” one member shared. “Whether it’s a new fan showing up for the first time or someone looking to make new friends, she’s always willing to help.”

Over the past year, Journey has helped support friendship bracelet exchanges, festival planning efforts, and community outreach projects designed to connect Swifties from Harleysville, Lansdale, Kulpsville, Montgomeryville, Line Lexington, and beyond.

Those who know her best describe her as thoughtful, supportive, and passionate about creating positive experiences for others.

As the Harleysville Swifties community continues to grow, volunteers like Journey play an important role in making sure new members feel included and welcomed.

“The best communities are the ones where people feel comfortable being themselves,” Journey said.

Friends say that attitude has helped create the welcoming atmosphere many members appreciate today.

Community members also know Journey for her friendship with local Swiftie enthusiast Tay Cup, who is believed to reside in the Robins Glen area of Harleysville.

While Tay Cup generally prefers to remain outside the spotlight, community members say he occasionally appears at local gatherings, festival activities, and friendship bracelet exchanges.

The pair have become familiar faces within the community, with several members describing them as longtime Swiftie allies.

When asked to comment on Journey’s recognition, Tay Cup offered a brief statement.

“She’s pretty cool.”

He then reportedly changed the subject.

Outside of community activities, Journey enjoys music, friendship bracelet trading, local events, and supporting small businesses throughout Montgomery County.

As preparations continue for the upcoming Regional Swiftie Festival, Journey remains focused on what she believes matters most.

Bringing people together.

And while she may not always be the loudest voice in the room, many community members agree that her positive influence has helped shape the Harleysville Swifties into the community it is today.
